Next Club Meeting: 7 April 2020 @ James Corlew Chevrolet Cancelled
The members of CoC had the honor of presenting two $500 checks to the charities sponsored by our club; Safe House and Fisher House. At our October 2019 monthly business meeting, we gathered together and presented the checks to the two representatives of the charities.
“CC” Carmack-Wheeler, Executive Director of Urban Ministries, told the members of the Safe House mission. They provide a confidential shelter for battered, abused adults and children in varied relationships gone wrong. The shelter operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. The money CoC donated will go to client benefits; food, shelter, clothing, physical and advocacy support in many ways.
Wendy Carlston, Manager of the Fort Campbell Fisher House. Fisher House provides a home-type environment for families of military persons having medical procedures for life crisis at nearby Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) and other nearby medical centers.
The donations were greatly appreciated by the recipients and will be put to good use.
“Thank You” to the members of CoC, whose hearts are as big as their love of Corvettes!
