January 25, 2020 Corvettes of Clarksville visits Lane Motor Museum and chows down at Jack Cawthon’s Bar-B-Que

Saturday, Corvettes of Clarksville drove to Nashville, TN to visit the famous Lane Motor Museum and have lunch at Jack Cawthon’s Bar-B-Que joint.  Thirteen members drove seven Corvettes of various years and horsepower.  President Carl did a fantastic job leading the group and only went “off course” once!

The museum, housed in a recycled Sunbeam Bread bakery, specializes in unusual cars and contraptions.  Prototype aircraft both full and partial scale were there to see and enjoy.  The “vault” tour of the behind the scenes repair and restoration shop was pretty cool also!

The Bar-B-Que restaurant had delicious food and Corvette worthy parking! What more can you ask for?

Those that attended this event had an entertaining day and enjoyed exercising our Corvettes.
