96,000 miles, C6 rims,
Michelin Tires, Kenwood Touchscreen with GPS and Sirius XM,
Interior and Exterior in great shape!
Must see to appreciate
There were 30 of the yellow cars assigned for duty at the speedway for the May race that year. There were 50 teal ones (I put a delivery pic with the post pics). Competition Yellow is also the rarest color for Vettes in 1990 with 278 cars this color. This was my 69 year old father's car which he enjoyed it for about 12 years before his passing. It now has 69,000 miles on it and is in really great shape. When he bought it the back window was fogged so he had a new one placed in the original top. It looks great since the top probably hasn't been down a dozen times. The paint on the car is all original with very few nicks or blemishes. The original cloth top is in great shape. The interior is in great shape but needs a professional detail to be closer to perfect. The driver side seat bolster beside the bottom of the seat has a tiny hole which is an easy repair. Other than that all of it is very nice. The only other items I know of that have not been taken care of which need attention are the radio speaker amps (common problem on these years) and the horn will not work. He drove this car only 6,000 miles in the last 12 years. The tires are not but a couple of years old and are almost like new. I ordered all new R1 brake pads and rotors for it 7 years ago and put everything on 2 years ago so they are almost new. I have not driven the car but a few times and my mom and I followed the hearst to the grave yard in it with 16 of the Corvettes of Clarksville club member cars following. It still drives like a 1990 Corvette with surprisingly few rattles and squeaks which is unusual. The engine runs great, transmission shifts like it should and there is no unusual drivetrain noise. I know the waterpump has been replaced (sitting all the time) and is has had plugs and wires. Regular oil changes were performed. If I were going to keep it I would have reproduction door decals made, but other than that I would leave it alone. Now...if you are interested in this car and want to come take a look at it then contact me and I will make arrangements. My price on the car leaves me some room to move if you see it and want to make a realistic offer. If you want to take it for a test drive just to wind the guts out of a Corvette then do not even respond to this advertisement. This is an investment car which can be driven and is lots of fun. My father's wishes was for us to sell this car after his death to pay for his final arrangements. It was much more fun and ultimately less expensive than an insurance policy.
